No time lately to make or post much new art or writing, or even look at or comment on much of anyone elses work... I will, soon... I'm promising that to myself, and you just happen to be reading it, heh! I left the Unseen Artists group. No real reflection on the group- I just didn't have the time to put any energy into it, and if you don't participate, it's too similar to getting spam. If you're active, I'm sure it's swell. I went on a little "photo safari" on Monday. A friend of mine- Louse, and I went out for a walk with cameras in tow, randomly snapping away at whatever we felt was... snappable. We're walking back from a graveyard (cliche as all heck- I know, but sometimes a good place for shooting at sunset) and we see a family of five raccoons climb out of a storm drain and run up a tree- so, being the over-eager schmuck I am, just after Louse says "we probably shouldn't get too close to that tree," I'm arms deep in branches trying to get a good shot, attempting to make attention-getting but soothing clicky noises at the fluffy cuddly possibly rabies carry

I have a tendency to work in black and white a lot, but it wasn't until I started posting a bunch of my stuff on here that I realized just how much I tend to work in black and white! There's more black and white to come, to be sure... there are still several bits and pieces that I intend on putting up here that are black and white. But, man oh man, I need a little more color! Good thing that some of the projects I'm working on now are brightly colored.
